The contained Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Manager & Administrator Training Course contains 7 modules filmed over 5-hours.  This course is designed for EFB Managers, Administrators, Chief Pilots/MFOs/HFOs, Safety Managers, Auditors, and Base champions supporting the EFB Manager. The content caters for those organisations already with a robust EFB program wishing to audit and improve, down to those researching the best way to initially introduce EFB to their organisation. Much of this content is based on the EFB Training material provided to the Australian Defence Force on behalf of OzRunways, delivered by the same facilitator.

The content includes Australian CASA, New-Zealand CAA, and PNG CASA References, and is therefore also applicable to other destinations in the Australia Pacific region with similar regulations. The material satisfies the Australian requirements of CASA CAO 82.0 Appendix 9 Para 5&6, New Zealand CAA AC91-20 Para 13.13 & 13.14, and PNG CASA AC91-13 Para 13.10 & 13.11.

As a model for the training, Apple iOS v14 is the operating system described. Irrespective of the Primary Application type used by an organisation (OzRunways, AvPlan, Jeppesen FD, or Garmin Pilot), this course will cover off comprehensively on the required EFB Administrator knowledge. Where specific examples are noted such as Subscription Management, and Pre-flight considerations, the OzRunways Application v10.1.0 is used. The example noted for Mobile Device Management is AirWatch. Despite these, the majority of points covered can also be applied to Android Platforms or other EFB Applications.
